Mr J-C
Mr J-C’s 32-year career started with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in various criminal investigation sectors before later transitioning to the Security Service of the RCMP.
In 1984, he formerly became an Intelligence Officer in the newly created Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), which replaced the Security Service of the RCMP, and transferred to the Headquarters in Ottawa where he occupied various positions in the counterintelligence program. In that position he acquired extensive operational experience in key sectors of CSIS including the Director Secretariat responsible for the liaison with the Office of the Minister.
Once he attained senior management rank at CSIS he became responsible for various sensitive operational sectors including the position of Director General of Human Sources Branch, Director General of Foreign Liaison and Deputy Director General of Security Screening Branch. For his last assignment, Mr. J-C became Chief of Station of the Security Liaison Office, in Paris France, also covering Spain & Portugal, until his retirement in 2012.
