
Col (ret’d) Juan Lopizic
Colonel (ret’d) Juan Lopizic is the General Manager of ALRM Group Chile. He served with distinction in the Chilean Army (Artillery) for over 30 years, including many command and training posts. During his career, he acquired a degree of Polytechnic Military Engineer in Systems, specializing in Communications, which led him to become the Deputy Chief of Communications of the Army, a position in which he developed and oversaw different projects related to administrative communications and combat tasks.
Constantly pursuing professional development, Juan also obtained the title of a Military Intelligence Specialist, serving in different positions within this branch, including with the Chilean Army Intelligence School, where as Head of Academics he developed and taught different courses. These included among others offering a specialized anti-drug course and military counterintelligence.
As part of his teaching activities, he has held the chairs of “Communications Systems” and “Transmission Systems” at the Military Polytechnic Academy and the chair of “Telecommunications in Support of Emergency Management” for the Diploma in Planning and Management of Emergency and Disaster Risks, developed jointly by the Army War College and the National Emergency Office (ONEMI).
As a complement to his military work, he pursued advanced studies in Educational Administration and Management obtaining a Masters degree from the Universidad de la Republica, and acquired diplomas in project management and evaluation, in both civilian and military domains.
After his retirement from the Army, he was engaged by Telefónica Ingeniería de Seguridad (Chile), where he was in charge of developing business opportunities in the defense area, implementing different electronic security and communications projects.
